Tessa Thompson
The actress Tessa Lynn Thompson was born on the 3rd of October 1983, in Los Angeles, California. Thompson is the daughter of Marc Anthony Thompson (a singer/songwriter) and the granddaughter Bobby Ramos, an actor/musician. She was raised as a child in Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. Her father is Afro-Panamanian in heritage and her mother of Mexican and British Isles descent. Thompson was part of various productions during her time at Santa Monica High School. She was enrolled in Santa Monica College after graduation and earned a cultural Anthropology degree. She performed as Juliet in William Shakespeare's drama "Romeo and Juliet" as part of a show performed in the Boston Court Theatre in Pasadena, California. Her nomination was for the NAACP Theatre Award in the same season. The first time she appeared on TV was on the air in 2005. She was on CBS.
