Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress who is famous for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. She began acting as a stage performer in the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Following that, she performed on Broadway in various shows up until the year of 1957 when Li'l Abner became large in the National Theatre. The following year, she made her debut album of music, It's The right time to Tina. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958 in which she played Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a drama film. It was a huge success and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category.
