Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress who is famous for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. She began acting as a stage performer in the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Following that, she performed on Broadway in various shows up until the year of 1957 when Li'l Abner became large in the National Theatre. The following year, she made her debut album of music, It's The right time to Tina. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958 in which she played Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a drama film. It was a huge success and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the course of this film, she was enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection with Lee Strasberg as his student. The next role she starred in was by way of 1964 when she signed with CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise performed a superb job of juggling between Broadway and Hollywood. She played somber different characters, which contrasted with her glamorous image that she was perceived as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she has made a name for herself as the director of many popular TV shows, including Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto at the age of 3 and she continued to live there throughout her childhood and adolescence. After being chosen in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived in the city ever since.
